New since March 2024: Display of stock at the product level
Before:
Prior to the introduction of stock management in Orderlion, products in the online shop could be ordered even when they were out of stock. This led to the need for communication regarding order changes and manual deactivation of products.
Benefits:
Prevent unlimited sales of products that are out of stock. Buyers can only order what is currently in stock.
Reduce the effort required for communication after orders are placed and deactivting products manually.
Encourage buyers to place orders promptly when stock is low.
Products are automatically deactivated when stock reaches zero.
Activation:
Stock management has been automatically implemented with the latest update.
If no stock is entered, availability is considered unlimited.
Stock can be manually entered at the product level.
Stock management can also be updated through the interface from the ERP system.
Stock levels are synchronized daily from the ERP system. Manual synchronization is possible at any time. Increasing the synchronization frequency can be arranged by the Orderlion team.
Amount of stock is updated with every order placed.
Note: Sales PRO users can overwrite stock when they order for customers and can order more than the available stock.
Display in the Shop:
Stock is displayed in the shop alongside the quantity of products.
Only when the quantity drops below 6 will the available quantity be displayed to indicate scarcity.
When the quantity reaches 0, the product is marked as sold out.
