1. Adding New Products: It Starts Here

At the outset, during your shop setup, your product catalogue is imported. Need to add more products to your shop? Here's how:

  • Individual Product Entry: Click on the "Create New Product" button and provide product details, including name, ERP number, category, tags, description, and order units. Add specific deadlines and create product attributes to collect specific information or requirements from your customers when they order a product. Learn more in Don't forget to upload an image to enhance your customers' shopping experience. Remember, visuals matter, and adding tags like "Back in Stock" or "Regional" provide valuable information at a quick glance. (More tips for setting up your online shop for success can be found in .)

  • Bulk Import: You can also upload a product information file through the import wizard, streamlining the process for larger catalogues.

  • ERP Sync: If you connected your ERP system to Orderlion, your products will be synced automatically. You can still edit individual products and add product attributes, images and tags.

2. Edit Product Ranges: Tailored Shopping Experiences

Creating range groups for specific customers allows you to customise the product range visible to them. You already learned about creating range groups in . Here's how to proceed and create specific product ranges:

  • Select the product range you wish to edit from the drop-down menu (typically the standard product range is selected).

  • To add and select products for a specific range group or customer, click on create sub-range and unselect products.

  • You can edit your product range at the standard group level, the range group level and individual customer level. In other words, you can add and remove products for all customers, a group of customers or individual customers.

3. Managing Prices: Customise Your Offerings

Managing prices in Orderlion follows a similar logic to editing product ranges. You have several options:

  • List Prices: Edit the standard list price for your products.

  • Group Prices: Customise prices for product groups.

  • Customer Prices: Set individual prices for specific customers.

Select the product range of which you want to edit the prices and change them in the table. If you want to change the price for a specific product, click on the button β€œβ‚¬ Manage prices” below the tab bar to search and edit it.

4. Edit Product Categories: Organise Your Catalogue

In your online shop, customers will find your products organised within product categories. Click on the "Edit Product Categories" button to view your existing categories.

  • Assign categories to products so that customers can easily find them in your online shop.

  • Add new categories with names and, for root categories, don't forget to include an image displayed in the app.

  • Reorder categories by simply dragging and dropping them, changing their display order in your shop.
